This year has been pretty quiet as far as fires go-- but we did have a few small fires on the hill above town a few days ago. They were started by lightning and were apparently easy to put out. Last year the whole state was hazy from fires in the south so I am happy for clear air this year!
but everything looks so green in town and how the trees have grown. Haven't seen them in leaf for a while. Apple tree ok? Can apricots and peaches? Got cherries from near the Sand Dunes?
